You may have noticed already, but here at Easter Compton we do our best to offer high quality products sourced locally from producers using traditional slow growing free range farming methods wherever we can. Which is why we’re proud to let you know that all of our products in this shop (like most of the rest of them) are sourced from a collection of local free range farms! All of the animals we use spent their lives just a stones throw away so that you can have as few miles between you and your family meals as possible!

Cut from the inner thigh of the cow. Topside is a classic roasting joint and comes with a layer of fat secured to it which bastes the meat as it cooks. And because of the low fat content in the meat itself, it can be roasted fairly quickly and served rare, thus remaining nice and tender.

All of our Beef is hung and dry aged for 28 days in our Himalayan Salt Chambers to intensify the flavour and take it above and beyond what you'd find at your average supermarket butcher.
